326/500

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI...m=121229115777

Up for sale, looks like a nice rig.

1993 Land Rover Defender 110 - #326/500. Vehicle is a Defender 110 with typical rust spots and various dents and dings associated with normal use. The roof basket has been removed and is not available. The original rims are boxed and are part of the sale - the original tires are not.

I have included numerous pictures of the vehicle for your review, close-ups are provided for areas with rust or dents.

This is an original car with the issues that a vehicle from 1993 has, along with the typical problem Defender 110's are known for. It gets used on weekends and runs great - always maintained by the local Land Rover dealer. The car is for sale locally and this auction may be stopped in the event of a local sale. Please be a serious buyer if you request additional photos or information and please know what you are buying - this is not a perfect truck, but it is a typical Defender 110. Vehicle is currently located in MA and an inspection is possible, just contact me to set up a mutually agreeable time.

Payment must be made prior to picking up or transporting vehicle. A successful bid is a legally binding contract for the purchase of this vehicle. A $500.00 deposit through Pay-Pal is required withing 24 hours of the auction closing, and final payment must be made within 7 days via bank check (certified funds), or cash.

I love to see Defenders with plenty of "Oversand Permits" plastered all over the bumpers.

I bet the owners always washed and rinsed that salt water off after their beach outing on the Cape...

Not as bad as it could be in terms of rust, but definately time for a rear crossmember.
If this is near Boston I could look at it for somebody if they are serious.

Take a hammer and check it out!

The owners will get that funny look when you start tapping underneath and have to PULL your hammer back out!

No amount of rinsing will get that salt out. Not to worry, this truck will probably get recycled yet again in the Boston area to someone who won't even pop the hood or checkout underneath. As long as its shiny on the outside and clean inside...

$45k seems really really high for a 30 year old NAS 110 truck with black Wolf wheels in the Northeast with 85k miles.

This is headed to California for a client of mine (LA area).

Some things not noted in the eBay add... it has a new engine, very tight R380, a lot of new suspension parts, and seems to have been very well taken care of up to this point in its life.

The rear crossmember is gone but the rest of the frame is very very good.

The firewall will need a rebuild or a replacement.

I have about 200 photos I took of the 110 today in case there is a future buyer who wants to trace the history.

i am not dogging the truck at all but how will it need a cross member and the bulk head is shot. but the rest of the chassis is really good. that almost cant work.

the front is toast.
the rear is toast.
but the part that could be the worst is the best..... just seems odd.
