1987 Land Rover Defender110 for sale. Right hand drive fitted with 200 TDI and LT 77 transmission with 130K. Clean Colorado title, new bumper, 9000-pound T-max Winch, Safari snorkel, Landy Rack with front and rear lights. New batteries with duel battery system, skid plate, new rear shocks and rebuilt starter. Needs the final restoration push but it well on its way. Drives like a tank and looks like an expedition machine. Needs more but I can't afford to do it. It's my dream truck but hard times are forcing me to let her go. Call 303-588-2069

Wasn't there a truck out here in NH or somewhere out here that looked very similar to that?

Screen shot from my iPad.

Isn't this the bespoke truck that ended up somewhere near Boston? Seems like I remember reading that the quality was pretty bad.

If that is the orig uk plate on the front of it, a "C" reg plate is an 85 not an 87....
I had a "C" reg escort diesel when i lived there and it was an 85....

It looks like one of these:

I think some guy in Plymouth, MA was selling one a couple of months ago on eBay as well.

That's the one I've been talking about. It had 87k miles on it, not 130.

Why does having an active listing for the same truck in another country matter? Pics in the CL look like the US, but who knows. Also shows $14k in the UK - could help when negotiating, also the UK ad shows more photos, if you're into that kind of thing.

Maybe I wrong but it was 14k pounds which is about $22k us. Not far of the mark from the uk post. May cost $$ to get here and registered. Still a good price.

Truck is in CO- screen shot shows the foothills in the background. Not to mention I can't imagine a swamp cooler (seen in another photo) would be very efficient in the UK. Just a thought.

I haven't seen the truck but based on the photos from the CL listing it's in CO.

red plate with orange triangle on top in windscreen of truck is a UK trade plate used by dealers to move vehicles around. Also second picture shows the power lines above ground ... this is less common in the UK. Most of ours run underground for local distribution.

josh how do you get the quid sign???

Also I think thats a great looking truck ... very nicely balanced parts ... looks purposeful without being over the top!

You have to hit the little number sign on the left of the keyboard twice to get to the more advanced characters.
