Funny that apparently the last owner fitted it up with a snorkel, drove it 200 miles and sold it. Some expedition he went on there!

If this is the holy grail, that red 50 mile one belongs at Copley too - Keith you trying to get AutoExotica down on their price? Their eBay listings are down from $250K to $189K OBO at least

What trash. All that money and it doesn't even have the original radio.

I would be interested on why the gas pedal was replaced and/or the brake pedal shows wear. What's up with the red LED on the dash? Aftermarket alarm?

wow that was quick. you dont waste any time.

barry i will get you the original radio.

the LED is some kind of alarm / tracker thing. i have NEVER seen it before. [but again i do old / vintage cars. not like you new modern fast car guys have.]

yeah the snorkel was added. its a RN one. i was going to remove it but the photos were taken first. [i have the original vent plastic thing]

I kid about the radio. It looks like a great truck.

Keith I will gladly trade you a new unmolested vent cover for that snorkel. You know I've been looking!

Yeah wow that little alarm light was always there. I never saw it before either, but it's right there from the original eBay ad back when it had only 2,200 miles!

cant swap the snorkel now. i will keep my eyes open.

just buy one from RN. the only complient i have about them...... you can not tighten them enough. they move, they slide, its pretty cheap metal that clamps to the "roll cage". you have to add more "padding" under the clamps to really make it stay put.

[zack that is not bashing you. just saying.]

No worries, thanks for the input. I will pass that along to the manufacturer to see if we can fix that issue. It is the closest we have found to the Mantec, and while the metal is light, it is galvanized and powdercoated so it should last....

Good news I guess, talked to the boss. We already have the new clamps, they came on the air shipment Friday when I was in Tejas. Call me if you need a set Keith(FOC)!

My truck has that little red light too in the exact same location. It's alarmed, but the light stays dark when armed. I haven't dug too hard to look for the connection because it's pretty deep behind the dash.

Well it was only fitting that the 50 mile 1997 red one ended up at Copley:
