I also saw this last night and was curious if it was in the US. I asked the seller and this was the response.

The Vehicle is not currently in the US, Its on route to Orlando. However I am trying to secure a Buyer before it arrives.
The Truck is a German Made edition only hence it was purchased in Germany and Shipped Stateside. I will be able to make more precise arrangments by the time the Auction ends. Thank you for your interest.

Edit: listing has been removed.

Potential for financial loss here is significant.
Even if it lands here. DOT will seize and crush it.

Go to Germany

Take pictures of new Defenders in the showroom

Post on ebay and sell for $100K

Profit!

Only cost is flight to Germany and ebay fees!

I have already spoken to the seller. Oddly enough the truck has not left Germany yet. I offered to assist with the truck today but of course since it has not left Germany yet well you get the picture.

More likely it'll take a year for Customs to process through the EPA/DOT legal system. The importer will eventually be given a choice, petition for release or forfeit it. I don't think it'll get crushed. I bet it gets turned around and sent back to Germany.

So just take a 50% deposit up front and you are just tying up the buyers money and only delaying your profit. LOL
