1998 50th Anniversary on craigslist

Anyone know about this truck? I searched for an answer on whether they would be legal along the same lines as the Japanese trucks, but didn't find one. Any thoughts on that? Asked for a VIN, and then could check it on the NHTSA site.

Would like to see the color in person too.

That color did not come on japanese trucks.

It appears to really be a 1998 50th sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo it had to be illegally imported.

George imported as parts. If I remember correctly it does not have a VIN so there's nothing illegal about it. Couple other vendors have bodies legally for sale as well. . .

Other than a couple minor differences, it is a 1997 NAS D90.

with the added benefit that it might not be 100% legal in the state which you reside ... The feds took a number of Nissan Skylines off people that thought they had bought them legitimately ... caveat emptor!

I shouldn't get involved but I think all those skylines came from one shop in California and their method of titling all of them was questionable so it was a big sting against the shop where the customers paid the price. With this truck I bet it has been here for a long time and no one is coming after it. I doubt it even has a 88 title. Shequisha at the DMV could careless about this old shitbox.
