1997 Arles Blue SW Fully Built - dmarchand clone

I haven't seen David around recently (his username is dmarchand for those who don't know him), but this looks basically identical to his truck with the dog guard, Southdown snorkel, etc. etc. but it says it's located in Utah. Plus I thought he was doing the Vermont Overland Trophy with this truck? Hope everything is OK wiht him if this is his truck (which I can only assume)

Anyway, I always liked David's truck, so if someone else did, here's your chance to own it.

1997 Arles Blue SW w/ 87k miles, galvanized chassis, fully locked and loaded with a ton of offroad stuff.

Very nice truck. Having that tire in the back would scare the crap out of me.

Huge heavy tire close to the head of the driver. Bad accident would likely make it go flying off whatever mount it's on.

New chassis, bulkhead, brake lines, etc., etc.,etc.? NE coast rustbelt trucks shouldn't move west, it is the otherway around.

Isn't David's truck converted to diesel (2.8?). There was a guy named DJMenasco on here years ago that is from that area, but I don't remember what truck he had.

You're right on the not Dave's - Dave's badge is 2221 and this one it 0140 - there was a build that BDR Automotive was doing a few years ago that I thought was Dave's, but it was actually this truck (0140) being built up. I had asked Dave back then if it was his truck getting the work done, but I never heard back from him and I ended up just thinking it was his.

Here was the build page.

Marchand posts here regularly.

It's Marley's truck up for sake. Watched BDR build it and helped fill it with stuff before it was loaded up and shipped back to UT.

Wow, I was searching the forum for a part and came upon this! Sorry guys, not my truck. I don't hit the forum as often anymore. Twin toddlers will do that for you. It was Marley's. Have a lot of fun memories of wheeling with that truck. Very nicely rebuilt. Josh, didn't mean to ignore you
