Background looks familiar. Same guy as we all read about before? I suspect so.

I have been looking for another RRC or a disco; and using the search engines I do Quinton's truck popped up. I posted to let people know just in case they buy from him to be careful. I lost almost 6k and now I have to go back to Bend at least twice for the lawsuit. Just trying to help others. It's a PITA.

And Heey Staci!!

I was answering John's question and I assumed everyone already knew about it. It was 3am and I was heading for work. Guess my post was not thorough, but by no means passive aggressive. Until he and I are 'square', it's only right to let others know how he does business. He's wanting to buy and sell rovers now so he should be honest about what he is selling. If the body is swiss cheese you should say so and if you say I'm done with the work you paid me for. The work should be done.

I know this truck.... it is as advertised! I wouldn't let anyone run a person off and am willing to take photos for anyone interested.

$7500 and it includes a rebuilt title. Seems like a smokin' deal.

I am not a vindictive person and nowhere did I say "Don't do business with Quinton Bartolotta"

You won't let anyone run off Quinton's perspective buyer? Did you see his for sale ad for the 350 rover? Did you see that one in person and know he was lying about it's condition and not warn me or advise him to fix his ad? Do you condone Quinton keeping my money for his 89 RRC and then use the funds to kit this one out and sell it without refunding me for the 89 still in Bend? Did you know he told me the seats he charged me for but never installed are at your shop? I know he is a friend of yours, but do you condone his behavior?

I have seen this 95 LWB in person too. I saw it when I was at Quinton's shop and before he put the accessories on it. I want him to sell it, that way he has another opportunity to repay me. He's telling people he can't give me my money back because he spent it. If he sells this one he can repay me and have money left over.

If you buy it just be sure to look for yourself or have someone you trust go look for you. This is the kind of stuff you need to look for with Quinton. "New leather seats"...I never said "leather?" I never said "new?" and a "New headliner"...I never said "new?" I said "good used" Where is the snorkle? I will ship it to you. Good times.

Just be careful and good luck to all.

Carmen: You came here and started this thread for drama purposes and perhaps to vent a little more at your least favorite person.

Please don't waste your time on this guy any more. Go get yourself a Rover from a reputable party.

Have you noticed when someone uses the word "drama" - it takes away the focus and minimizes what is actually happening. 'He stole from you?' 'DRAMA' I've been a member of this forum for less than a year and as an 'outsider looking in' I have noticed that at least twice a month someone is currently or has in the past taken advantage or screwed someone else over. WTF... I will not explain my reason for posting this anymore. I have already said it was to be helpful to others when dealing with this particular seller. You guys are creating drama where there is none. Call it what it is - a business deal gone bad.

Take it easy

Yes. People bitch and want to know why there aren't threads warning of others' business practices....then when something is posted to bring attention and warn, it's drama. Notice when it happens to them, it's not drama. Don't post and bump the thread if you think it's drama, just keep on scrolling. I hope he sells it for that inflated, ridiculous price so he no longer has an excuse to not repay you.
