Called the seller.

The car is from Nicaragua and is NOT registered / imported to US.

It comes with a title from Nicaragua.

If its straight, clean diesel with reasonable miles then its a good deal on parts. You can part out the body for 3-4k, and be left with a good deal on a Tdi conversion.

Follow-up Post:

Of course there's not much chance its got reasonable miles.

Good deal for the canadians among us though. Should be a 1993 build date.

Depends on the year, there is a list of which ones are acceptable.. I know the 93 110 is, and some of the d90s, just not sure which years.. It has to be imported by a registered importer, and then modified to meet US specs..
