I have a few more pics of this, and I could have sworn I saw in one of the pics that the water line was 4/5's up the top of the front fender flares.

The Defender got wet at sometime in 2012. I have search everywhere to find out what happened. I have removed everything inside the truck and found NO evidence of water ingress.

I asked the seller at the first auction if it was the truck from Sandy and he said "I don't think so"

FWIW from the seller when asked:

"I was told it was not from Sandy. However, We can take that with a grain of salt. When I went to pick it up, I could see a water line just above the center of the wheels. The battery was dead and I hooked a jump box to up and it started up and I loaded it on the trailer. There was NO water in any of the running gear. There was NO mud or any deposits under the front mats or rear cargo mat. I have driven the truck about 100 miles and it runs and drives great. Land Rovers is all we service and sell here. We custom build Land Rovers for off road use. If there is anything specific you want to know please ask."

Maybe the seller meant a water line half way up the spare tire? haha

Also, that "grain of salt" cracks me up, considering...
