The odometer kills it. I would agree mid 20's

------ Follow up post added March 22nd, 2013 07:19 PM ------

Looks like a nice truck though. Also consider a few thousand for A/c as well. I know others will say its a ST so who cares about air. These things are hot as hell! There was nothing better than driving my 94 in Aug 95 degrees with 100percent humidity in traffic and the air on full.

Makes you wonder about the rust, right? Haha.

Also remember it'll probably cost another $1.5k to transport out to Boston from Washington.

Thanks for the comments. I figured I'd need a/c no matter what. I haven't seen anyone talking/bidding on this D90. Would you say it's not even worth looking at?

Is everyone staying away from this truck because of the potential rust (marine gps and the back sprayed). I'll probably hold off if it's going to take a mid 20's offer. From the pictures it looks pretty clean but you never know.

Any D90 or D110 you pretty much have to see in person. I think it is worth looking at. For what it is worth, at least in my state, over ten years old and the vehicles are sold miles exempt.

Back up for sale. This time the price has gone up to $35k Buy it Now.

aaronbretshelley ( Feedback Score Of 122)
Item Location:Gresham, Oregon, United States

SALDV2289RA942792

Mileage: 46,276

The last time it was for sale it had a required opening bid of $26k which was not met in either of the two auctions.

Listing:

One of the ultimate off-road machines, the Land rover D-90 gets high marks for both rugged capability and desirability. A torquey 3.9L fuel-inject V8 makes power under the hood, mated to a heavy-duty 5-speed manual transmission and near bullet-proof locking differential that's perfect for those steep grades. This rig features a front brush guard for when it gets a bit thick, and Tuffy locking center console. Comfort is not lost in all the ruggedness with cloth seating, and an upgraded sound system that features a Pioneer Premier audio receiver with CD player . 16-inch steel wheels are wrapped in new Goodyear Wrangler Mud-Terain rubber (including the 5th, rear-mounted wheel). Purchase includes a CarFax report.

This a spectacular vehicle. It has been comprehensively refurbished and upgraded throughout. You could not duplicate it for the selling price. It features gorgeous Green Paint and new black seating. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer Defender.

The vehicle is equipped to handle extreme off road conditions but drives and handles very well. The drive line is nice and tight. It is super clean inside and out and top to bottom. It features a new Soft Top, new front bumper with a Warn 9.5 ti winch, Diff Lock, NATO Wheels, Dura Wall puncture resistant tires, Tuffy Box, Rock Sliders, Old Man Emu Springs and Shocks, chassis skid plate, like new seats, Garmin GPS, and insulated floor mats.

Vehicle is sold as is. Professional shipping can be arranged at buyer's expense. Complimentary PDX airport pick up is available. Personal inspections are welcome and encouraged. Please call my cell to ask questions @ 503-841-8869.

Yeah, well I'm assuming that the previous owner him/herself was trying to sell it previously, and that it was purchased by this dealer to flip.

For anyone wondering if pictures really matter that much in a listing, compare this previous listing to the current one to see what a little detailing, some real light, and a nicer camera can do to the perception of a truck's value. Here is the previous listing when not a single bid was placed over multiple auctions.

Looks like a nice truck, and that soft top is gorgeous. FYI, while Oregon doesn't use road salt, WA does. That said, I don't think Vancouver/Battleground/Camas gets much snow.

I was in the neighborhood so I stopped by for a look. I definitely don't have the eye that many of you do, but I noticed a few things (I did not start or drive the truck)

1. top is definitely a Badger, but it isn't new
2. frame looked pretty good (didn't get all the way under it)
3. looks to have been repainted around the footwells
4. no backseat or tire carrier (he is trying to get it from previous owner)
5. large hole drilled in tub to mount the spare in the cargo area
6. guy insisted mileage was accurate, despite previous owners claims
7. took some effort to get hood open, same effort to get it closed
8. wiring job for all that nonsense wasn't great
9. didn't start it up, it was just moved into showroom
10. already leaked plenty of fluid from trans or transfer case
11. oil cooler lines looked old (not stainless), asked guy about thinking about a change, he said "why?"
12. guy said the previous owner was Dick Hannah, who is a new/used car dealer here in town (has quite a big operation)
13. Rhinolining is pealing in cargo area

I'm sure I've left out plenty, but was in a hurry. In my opinion, this isn't a $30k+ truck.

Just see the badger logo behind the work light.

Too cheap to install a new spare tire mount???
WTF?

If I was the previous owner, I'd ask at least $4k for these parts, since these people think the truck is worth $10k more than what "they paid me" for the truck.
