1993 NAS 110 #123/500 - ebay

Just in case anyone here is looking for a NAS 110. The gal I am helping sell her truck opted to post it on ebay yesterday. Click here for the listing.

It is a great truck despite the usual rust issues which are not nearly as bad as some I have seen. It has been taken care of and has not lived a hard life by any means. 94K on the clock.

Its about as stock as they come minus the R380, stainless oil cooler lines, and an alpine stereo. She has the original radio as well as the truck still has the original spare if I am not mistaken.

Looks like reserve has been met as well, I wonder what the market is right now?

It's nice to see a original truck that's not overly restored but at that kind of money will it get a full restore or resold as is?

She's a motivated seller I guess if 77 has exceeded the reserve already. Happens.

cant believe people would bid on an $80+k truck on ebay from a seller with 0 feedback. nothing against your friend, but if not for this forum post, I wouldn't have touched this auction with a 110 foot pole.

concur. NAS 110's are popular for scammers. They probably want a deposit via Western Union too.

Not. There for Dreamers. Not many people can afford one. Never mine find a nice one.

These trucks are bringing $100k +. Look on Autotrader. This is not the web site to sell 1993 NAS. For $80K +

I didn't read the whole thread, so apologize to the OP who vouched for seller. my intent was that generally, NAS 110's are popular with scammers, and western union is a popular way to circumvent traceable payments.

Yeah I know. I was worried about her 0 feedback as well. She is in her upper 60's to 70's and is seriously the most honest person I know. Just never has used Ebay before.

But so far no one cares about that apparently. I think it's crazy it is as high as it is as well.

But more power to her if it actually goes for that.

Starting to wonder if these bidders are not legit. Time will tell.

The auction will probably go to a deadbeat buyer in the end. Unfortunate - by the time the dead beat makes his position know to the seller, those one or two legit buyers will have moved on.

I doubt they just move on for something as collectable and hard to find as one of these. plus, they'll get the relisted notice. and she can keep the non-refundable deposit if she gets one that far.

Id me more worried about her sanity... selling a vehicle on eBay is enough to drive even savvy ebayers crazy.. Hopefully there is a trustworthy party willing to cut through all the noise and offer her a fair deal.

So what is a 'fair deal' here? The frame looks all sorts of beat up beyond reasonable repair......

I would agree the frame has some questionable areas (I can only really see the rear crossmember and the T posts up front), but at least she listed it honestly instead of throwing checker plate along the rear and calling it a new rear crossmember, right? Seems like "fair" is at least where it is right now, as those pics seem to show the good with the bad and bidders have continued bidding.
