The backstory. Arrived via Canada as parts. Assembled here. LH petrol bulkhead. Older galvanized frame with no holes for internal wiring. 100% rewired but outside the frame. No LR VIN on brake booster or frame, but perhaps on the glazing (?).

I love the wires just hanging around underneath and the "quick sway disconnect"

In progress photo. Agree, it would be better with a completed photo of that area.

I guess Asset Autos is the dealership selling it, or the seller recently purchased it from there?

Does it remind anyone else of this build? Especially the "Imported from Canada and rebuilt in USA. Immaculate vehicle with mostly new Land Rover parts. Diesel gets 17-24MPG. Titled in Oregon as a replica, inspected and assigned a VIN by DMV." Dale had said he started the build on the one below.

the one picture with the tank removed leads one to believe the tank has just been replaced. Not sure why the engine would be an issue since its 21+ years young. Wires hanging are tank sender etc

I have met the seller at a car show before with one of his other defenders. Cool, honest guy, I can't remember his name unfortunately (I think it's Brian?). Asset autos is his company, they normally sell run of the mill sedans and what not because thats where the money is in Nebraska (the only people who recognize real land rovers in omaha are the sudanese taxi drivers).

saw and drove this yesterday. Brian is an awesome guy. Truck is still for sale and not a trap. If I had the scratch I would have taken it home yesterday.
