Nice truck and even better garage. But thinking this is only a single "wink." Note the older style dash and tub.

Yup. Repaint that roof and capping, pull the chequerplate off the rear, pull the Jeep tires and boosts and replace with ANR4636 and XZLs.

I have seen the 130 non-hi cap before and always thought they looked a bit odd. Is it possible that it was sold in this configuration from LR? Like the 127?

127 and 130 is the same.

A 90 is actually about 92 inches I think.

My point is that the 127/ 130 at one time left the factory as 110" wheelbase trucks that were then modified to the longer wheelbase vehicles. I'm asking if this particular configuration rolled out of a factory at one point.

still available today from the factory ... I'd be suprised if they were still stretching chassis ... i would imagine they build on a 130 frame.

Originally the 127s started as 110s then were stretched into 127 aka 130 by Special Vehicles. The Chassis stretch was achieved by sleeving the original chassis rails with another section of rail that had holes in. Welding was done not only at the end of the sleeves, but also at the holes.

Found a little more information on that Vin

Yeah, the standard style tub looks so weird on a 130. Always wondered why LR didn't use a more matching style tub with the 130s but seeing this I realize it wouldn't have looked as good

They never 'left the factory" as a 110. Special vehicles took a 110 chassis, lengthened it, and built the truck from the ground up @ their facility.

That is a poorly done lhd dash conversion. Suprised so many of you like it. The fact that the gray filler panel has been spray painted black and flipped end over end and mounted upside down looks like crap. They did @ least use a lhd lower dash.

Special Vehicles did build a few trucks like this for the Dutch military, Nene Overland had one for sale several years ago.

This is a FrankenRover

Do the text and structure look oddly similar to Mr. Bill Cox's advertisements? Red font up top, lots of caps lock, lots of commas with no spaces between them, semi-incoherent, etc.

No it's going to "SAVANNA" and the "RESST" of the money (aside from the "20000") is due once it arrives. Clearly a scam just attempting to get the some sucker to pay a deposit.

SALLDHHV7BA105684

I love how it says "Translate to English with..." in another copy of his ad.
