You're right. Plus, 1986 did not have digital dash readings. This truck is ok.

Update: I was in Talladega, AL last week, but decided not to go look at the vehicle. As I sat on the plane, I really thought about it. I decided I just don't want a diesel.

I have a 2.5td and save so much money on fuel. I lose out on power but gain in pulling and climbing ability. If you're not worried about fuel efficacy and climbing/ pulling power go for a petro engine. The 200 & 300tdi engine are great engines.

If I get a D90 it would just be a play vehicle and get about 1000 miles per year. So I'm not too worried about the petrol V8.
