1983 110 on Boston Craigslist

I saw this morning for $92,000. Who knew a 110 could get 130 MPG.

PS-This is my first post and wanted to thank all of the members for the forum threads. I have learned a lot from all of you over the last month and I appreciate it.

Keith,

That's cause he's already looking for full retail....:-)

Thanks for letting Tim and I take the 110 and 90 out. Even if it was in the pouring rain. He's getting back from Brazil this weekend so may be giving you a call.

Does land rover make non-deluxe vinyl seats? For 92k- I hope that waxoiled frame is a galvanized one.

Keith, next time I come up that way I'm going to have to pick something to test drive, too. And no it's not going to be that Toyota pickup!

------ Follow up post added March 11th, 2011 05:56 PM ------

Maybe an SLS AMG...

Horsey won't you be sad when you drive a truck that isn't bastardized?

I would think the brakes would be the first thing he noticed, second would be that the seats feel weird without the badger logo.

Not saying that this is the case here ... however ... Waxoyl on the frame is to conceal the welding where the chassis leg from the donor vehicle was welded on to perform the 'restoration'.

I'll probably take a similar approach when I do mine ... ;-)
