1982 Land Rover Series 3/III 88" 7 Seat Station Wagon -*$15300 (Great Falls, VA)

For your consideration is a 1982 Land Rover Series 3 88" 7 Seat Station Wagon; the predecessor to the Land Rover Defender. This Land Rover is in very good condition given its age and off-roading prowess. It has been treated to many upgrades over the years making it both an incredibly able off-road machine, as well as a distinctive vehicle for driving around town. The following are some of the features of this truly unique vehicle:

Details:
Powered by a 2.5 litre diesel longblock with less than 3,000 miles that is mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.
ExMoD 24 spline front axle with 11 inch brakes that greatly improves stopping power.
Tropical roof that protects the cabin from direct sunlight and allows fresh air to pass through the vents.
Four jump seats that allow plenty of room for passengers, but fold up to provide ample cargo space.
Genuine Camel Trophy style brush guard.
Brownchurch roof rack with access ladder. Original rear step is still in place for ladder access.*
Warn 8k winch
Lower floor panels and seatbox has been treated to Dynomat to keep displace noise and heat.
ExMoor style floor mat for the passenger area including the seatbox.
Custom heavy-duty rubber mats covers the rear area including the wheel wells.
Padded door trim panels.
Rear fog lamp.
Rear reverse/work lamp.
Class 3 hitch bolted directly through the cross member.
Lock out hubs front and rear to permit flat towing, no trailer needed.
The spare is mounted in traditional Land Rover style with fuel can mounted on the back door.

The exterior has some bumps and bruises that only go to show it would rather be out on the trails. Treating it to a good wax job would probably restore the shine to the paint, or you can keep it as is with its rugged good looks.*

The Land Rover is fairly priced given all of the mechanical enhancements and accessories that is has. Please take a look at the pictures and don't hesitate to ask any questions. The Land Rover is located in Orange, VA.

Nice price increase...

I would have definitely bought that truck at that e-bay price.. although I would prefer LHD.

I thought you're supposed to make MORE money on eBay...not less. Seems like a good price.

I offered him $5101. He responded that I missed the sale of a similar one on eBay. He also turned down $12.5k and $10k. Not worth $15k in my opinion for a non original 1980s series.
