1964 heilite expandable tent trailer

Hey all:

Time to part with the heilite. Super cool vintage trailer. Lifted and riding on 12" tires. Extended tongue with place to bolt on your motorcycle or other stuff. We dont use it anymore because we bought a chalet trailer. I've got the stock wheels and tongue too. Here are some pics. It looks very cool behind a series rig! Original black and yellow california plates too! New canvas three years ago. A few small holes from being in a few sand/wind storms in black rock desert. Excellent little rig. Asking $1500 but feel free to make an offer. I'm trying to fund my 6.0l vortec swap into my 109!

Thanks,

Daniel

Thanks! Someone in California with a series with black and yellow plates needs this thing. I'll get some pics with it behind my series just to entice someone!

Why are all these things, Scamps, Burros, U-hauls, and Apaches on the wrong coast or in the midwest!

Did the brat show up in the pics? Its a 1984 subaru brat. Its got a 4" lift in the front and 3" lift in the back so it sits level, 27" all terrain tires on peugeot wheels. Four wheel disc brakes, limited slip rear diff, rear jump seats, fun tops, leather legacy seats, homemade winch bumper with 6000# warn winch. Repowered with an ej22 motor with fuel injection from a 1993 legacy (smog legal in California.. the only one I know of in the state.) and a dual range 5sp transmission from a ea82 subaru (late 80's stationwagon). It shares daily driver status with my rrc. It looks really good from about 10-15 ft, but get any closer and you'll see the bad stuff like several layers of crappy paint and minor rear wheel well rust and bashed sill panels. It is super fun to drive because it actually has power as compared to its stock form, and obviously people always comment. If I get motivated it will get power steering next.

The wiring for the fuel injection was fun if you saw that pic. Came out nicely though and I only cut one wire I shouldn't have. It passed the smog referee on the first try. I waited months after I was done to take it in, but eventually I needed a new smog certificate so I had to go. All went well and I got my smog ref sticker so its a legal swap. Thanks.

Daniel
