Love how he says he hates to sell it, yet it was only titled here like 10 days ago.

It says the title was "corrected" on 2/17? What does that mean?

I think its from riverhouse, I saw it on his site not to long ago. Its actually a streched 110 crew, isn't it? It doesn't have the normal 130 bed.

Seems every guy selling a Td5 on eBay built the rig ground up himself and circumstances force a reluctant sell.....hmmmm

Certainly doesn't look that "built up" like the seller claims, looks pretty stock. I love the 130s, though not crazy about the "stretched" crew cab look. A 130 needs the hicap bed.

Think that Vin number is 1980 when they certainly did not have TD5 engines.

Looks like one of the 130's built for the dutch govt. Nene had a similar one last year. Definately a different look.

I like the "stretched crew cab" look with the bed seamlessly integrated to the body. Creates a nice clean look.

I like it to, does anyone know if it was a mod, or did it come from the factory this way?

I like it.

Could you imagine making that a Soft Top and having a "troop carrier" beach runner!

I also call bull shit on the 30 mpg. Try more like 20.

I can imagine.

Does this look like one of the "earlier" TD5s that were plagued with some of the earlier engine issues, or is it hard to tell something like that?

This model was made only for the Dutch market and only for tax reasons. THe wheelbase is actually 2 or 3 inches more then a standard 130. It was made by the Special Vehicle department of LR in the years from 1994 to appr 2002. (I might be a little bit off with these years)

Because of the longer wheelbase this car could be registered as a commercial vehicle saving a 40% on sales tax and even more on monthly road taxes. Later they found other tricks to catogorise the normal 130 Hi-cap into the same class.

Because of the special frame and body I can not see any part of this car being older then 1994....

No surprise but that vin number belongs to a RHD 110 hicap pickup with a 2.25 diesel. Hmmmmmm?

It was only cylinder head problems that the earlier 10P suffix engines had (dual fuel drillings inside the head... later 15P models had one drilling and then an external pipe) and early models also had a plastic locating dowell for the head, which would melt and enable the head to shift slightly causing gasket failure.

the later 15P head can be fitted to earlier blocks though (with some jiggery pokery of the pipework)
