I don't know much about the 130 market or the supplier from this ebay post but figured someone around here might.... please chime in if you do.

Do a quick search here to learn what others have learned about dealing with the seller, MRM. Results don't look so hot

I bought a truck from Mat at MRM. It was a good experience. PM me if you have any questions.

I just unloaded a 40 foot container with a truck that I bought from Matt as well as a bunch of parts to rebuild another truck I already have here. I have nothing but good things to says. Matt was easy to work with. I had the truck inspected by a 3rd party inspector and I knew what I was getting. I have had the truck out and ran it at highway speeds with no problems. The brakes are a bit soft and it really needs cranked radius arms in the front, but other wise no significant problems I have noticed yet. I felt like Matt was upfront with everything and so far there has been nothing I haven't expected. I don't think I could have bought an 1987 American car that runs as well as my new truck does. He also went above and beyond in letting me collect parts at his place to rebuild the truck I already have here. PM me if you have any questions

Thanks for the replies. MRM didn't know up in too many threads either.
Not hitting Buy It Now just yet, but that 130 definitely is interesting.

Yeah but in the other threads I've seen regarding MRM the people got screwed by him. So apparently he's changed his ways.

Well I was just saying there was not tons of threads with horror like there are for a few other suppliers. The list was short for MRM and contains some who are happy and some who are not.

I've dealt with Matt (though I haven't bought). His reserve for a vehicle is ridiculously low. He was always quick to respond and provided me every photo I asked for. I thought he was a good guy.

The UK guys I spoke with who dealt with him direct for a pre-inspection had nothing bad to say.

I think you can always find someone with a bad experience. Do your due diligence and talk to guys on the forum who have UK contacts and import vehicles regularly. They should know who the bad apples are.

Better yet, if you're going to spend $30K, spend $31.5K and fly over and see it.

I have purchased two trucks from Matt and had a very good experience. I would recommend him.

I'm glad some of you have had good experiences with him. I do not know him and haven't dealt with him and certainly didn't intend for my above post to be inflammatory. I just remembered a couple of people that have had some difficulty so I wanted the OP to be aware. He has nice trucks and seems to be able to configure about anything you would want.
