I assume by this comment that you are in a qualified legal position to interpret the laws of this country differently from the way they are written down.

Just because they are here doesn't mean they will stay. See all the nissans that the Feds confiscated last year.

Doesn't mean I would have one. I'd just accept the risk associated.

I'm not associated with the law in any way. I've still to this day never read owning or buying a puma will land you in prison or with a 100k fine. Have you?

Eric, Not a good idea though! We will be trouble again! The low mileage 95 wagon I got from you was fun driving back to Brooklyn bullying the civic at Southern State Parkway! Ed must missed me!

I've heard that people go to prison for breaking the law. Just because the Feds are not focused on this now doesn't mean it won't or can't happen. Future risk is what I'm highlighting.

Still doesn't explain the time stated or fine amount. Also, I would imagine if it were a really big deal rovers north wouldn't be able to supply you with parts or a new 300tdi engine for that matter considering they're land rover authorized parts dealers...

No idea what the fine would be, but even if the fine was $20k, if I just paid $80k for a truck and it was confiscated it'd certainly feel like I lost $100k.

Anyway, I'm down for a drag race any time. Let's get this going.

$1, one minute ... Who cares. I'm more concerned at the principle of breaking the law ... Not by how much I break it or how large the consequence for this particular action.

RN aren't authorized parts dealer ... They have an agreement to supply parts for vehicles that LR does not want to carry in their dealerships. They also source current and pattern parts.

The EPA regs are clear, no non EPA engines.

Truck is sold to a dealer at mid 90's! No pictures but you can see the truck in person in front of MOMA building as per seller!

You guys are too new. RN advertised and sold 300tdi "conversion" kits for NAS D90s and EPA stopped them from doing so. Basically it was a package of everything you needed to drop a 300tdi into a NAS D90. I am sure you can still buy it all (assuming it is NLA), but EPA did not like the concept.
