I have not seen this truck once in town, but I am sure there are more than a couple of us in KC who would gladly check it out if anyone was seriously considering it.

Whats with the 5bar on the hood? It covers the whole thing instead of just the detent.

I have seen this truck and driven it. It was on ebay months ago. Basically it is illegal. It has a series II vin plate on it.

Nice truck. 300 TDI, R380, drives good it seemed. It was originally camel yellow I think then he painted it bonatti grey. One big issue with it in my opinion is they entire interior is rhino lined. Not well either. It was done with everything bolted in place so to get anything apart would be very difficult. Galvanized frame, the works. Other than that stuff it seemed like a great truck. Just not sure you could license it. I also was not fond of the window guards. But it has exmoor leather seats also.

Also why would anyone in the UK rebuild a defender for sale to the US and not convert it to LHD, it doesn't make any sense.
