110 CSW on ebay

I couldn't find this posted already.

Seems to have a pretty low BIN price, maybe.

Wow.

That's pretty amazingly low for having over 100 feedback.

Gabor was a man of legend for screwing folks over years ago (a decade plus). He brought in a bunch of ex mod 109s. Sold them as "excellent running condition" according to the buyers, many of whom didn't even make it out of Philly before the trucks died and Gabor didn't make it right. Then he had a website up saying he was DOT approved to bring ROW 93 110's up to NAS spec. Problem was the only lhd fuel injected 110's that rover built in 92/93 had already been shipped to North America and the other trucks were not eligible for federalization. He's been off the radar screen for a long time. Back then the only real Rover forum was the Rovers North one and it wasn't anything like it is now. So many didn't get the "word". Those of us that did were surprised the lemmings kept walking off the cliff

I think he bought one hundred Series Rovers from MVS the cost was around 250 UK pounds each when you bought that many.
That was when the MOD dumped all the Series Rovers in one fell swoop.

I thought so too, but be aware that the Ebay percentage is only over the last 12 months, not cumulative for all feedback. He has 2 positives and one negative over that time period, hence the low number. But based on others comments, sounds sketchy either way...

Oh. I didn't realize that. Makes sense. In the old days feedback went back forever. I guess my account history going back to the 90's isn't as cool as I thought it was.
