This was just sent to me. I do not know the truck or the seller, but wanted to pass on the info.:
I have a 1967 IIa Wagon that I have been working on for a year now. There is no frame rust and I have replaced the front left and right wing skins.
In addition, I have purchased new front seats, new front bumper, new rear cross member, the tread plates for the front wings, new weather stripping, line-x on the inside, new shift knobs and seals,
New clutch, and many, many other items including 2 new door tops.
The body is painted Poppy Red and the wheels are limestone. It has new tires on it as well.
The car has a Chevy inline 6 and Chevy transmission (starts and runs) and I also have the original 2.25 diesel and drive train. I have ownership records back to 1971 on the car.
It needs assembling, a radiator, a master cylinder rebuild and the rear cross member welded on as well as the various weather-stripping applied etc.
I have injured my back and neck to an extent that I am not going to be able to complete the project and I am trying to find someone to purchase and finish the job.
I have roughly $10,000 in parts on It or with it. I would be willing to take $8500 for it as that would pay off the credit card I have charged it all on.
If you know of anyone that is looking for a solid IIa that needs some focused attention, please send them my way or if you purchase items yourself for restoration, please consider this one.
