Well......another 2.5 is getting ready to drop in. From what I found so far is a hot spot dropped in either 2 or 3, then the rest of the motor followed suit and trashed its self. I think I can get my investment back in scrap price. The interior of the motor is not a pretty sight.

Hmmm....hoarding 200tdi motors. Bill...you might be on something there.

Well...I actually have a TDI sitting here waiting to get installed. Now something new might be on my plate so the sherpta beast may be going back in. Thank god the p38s and the discos are running great. Nothing like running 80 mph with the ac and radio cranking....and you can hear it!
It was a long cold winter and with the business growing close to 300% I really didn't have a lot of time to work on the 110. I did finally figure out that the injector pump/injectors are messed up on Lance's truck. Also retired Gus, and got Sues a nice d2 and just doing the finishing touches on it. With the weather breaking...and business slowing a little I will be more dillagiant in getting the 110 back on the road....TDI or 2.5.....

Rick, you don't happen to have a new set of standard main and rod bearings handy do you? Everyone seems to be out of stock. Must be a lot of rebuilds going on.

Have you tried George at RDS? I am pretty sure I used what I had, and sold the last set a couple months ago.

Remember that guy who said "don't buy that pellet stove, it's a piece of shot, you need to do it right and buy this one..."

I have the same feedback amigo - don't mess with a 2.5 just find a 200tdi or 300tddi. Please.

I admire Rick's conviction and loyalty. I question his intelligence - but I admire his conviction and loyalty.
