Beast! Not sure if I like the half Cyclone's/Dukes of Hazard wheels but those 37's look good on there. Like the blue and I'd cage it up like Marc said especially if you have it so burly on the bottom end. Nice looking rig - like to see how she comes out.

Not sure how people can wrench (or even wheel) barefoot. Your feet must be like leather.

The hummer wheels are handy because they are tough as shit but the looks are up for debate. We will likely swap them for something else. The cage is definitely in the works although it will not likely get done by MAR. As for Jordan, I will let him know you would like to rub his feet

Actually for being Hummer wheels (and H2's at that right?) they don't look bad being on a Rover. Certainly not a Wolf or a 130 steelie but I wouldn't have guessed they were from a Hummer.

:shivers: Definitely not rubbing any dude's feet:

OK today:

- new rear brake calipers and pads
- finished installing soft top
- fixed lights and installed new grille/front lamp surrounds

and we may have shocks and the custom front brake hoses tomorrow, along with the new front bumper, new seats, and even a winch...

SD makes that cage for 109s and D90s. I bet it is just shortening it if you want it for your 88.

OK tonight

- shocks done
- corbeau buckets and a set of lap belts
- group 31 battery
- removed that grey panel in the middle of the dash and dyed it black
- lucky8 breather upgrade kit

We are getting close now, waiting on the brake lines to get here. Tomorrow- well there is a Superwinch Husky in the shop floor and a custom made RTE front bumper to match.

You would be surprised. They keep you in position but there not anything crazy. Worst case, we can probably find a pillow for you to sit on

The school bus steering wheel has to go though, time for someone to start shopping for a Momo wheel.

Brakes lines came yesterday, and after lots of bleeding we made sure everything was tight and hit the road. I dont think the old Girling master cylinder pushes quite enough fluid for these one ton disc brakes but we will try and work that out. Drives great on road, like it was meant to have these axles! More fine tuning and off road goodness to come.

Swap to a TJ booster w/ a Dodge 2500 MC or do a half-ton caliper swap.

Could probably adapt any number of Booster/MC's the Defenders pedal box sets up well for that.

There is a Toyota servo/Dodge master combo laying around somewhere, but the brakes really feel like they did before so it could be a bad master.

Winch is on, bumper is on, wheel openings have been cut, wheels balanced, etc.

Yesterday we installed a set of black Equipe wingtop protectors and a smaller steering wheel- Doug you should have no trouble getting a ride at MAR- today the truck is at Rovertym getting some rock sliders and other custom touches. Not quite 3 weeks start to "finish", could have been less with a little more full-time planning but for a spur of the moment project went unbelievably well. I do see a 1.2 or 1.4 high range transfer case that has been converted for part-time duty in the truck's future though.
