To do or not to do

Looking for some opinions. I have a NAS d110, and as usual need to replace had liner.

This would be the opportunity to put in a sun roof that I wanted, but don't want to do something that will demise the value, granted the truck is no beauty queen with 146k on it. It was painted black, (will repaint back to white someday) but the sunroof hole is permanent.

What would you do!!!

Useless mod.
1. Gets hot with glass. Could do the military one that is metal to block heat though.
2. Will eventually leak.
3. Minimal ventilation.

Save your money and open a window.

Why cut a hole in a perfectly good roof? Its not as if Defenders don't already leak in enough places.

I would definitely not do it.

If you're bored, I'm sure something is rusting and needs de-rusting or needs fixing

I wanted to do something else besides chasing rust, fixing leaks and minor maintenance. Wanted to do something with some visual impact.
But time and money could be better spent else where.

I just installed a new roof and intentional didn't do a sunroof because of all the stories about how badly they leak.

I have a factory sunroof in my 97SW and never use it. Years ago I pulled the glass cleaned and lubed the seal and closed it for good. They're useless and only add heat to the cabin as Barry pointed. Plus it would be a shame to mess with a stock NAS110 Imo.

I don't think a sunroof is a modification that would make your 110 less original as you could get a factory installed one on a NAS 110 when new.

Does a sunroof help keep your headliner from sagging?

A sunroof was not an available factory or dealer option on the 1993 NAS 110.

and Nos4ra2, don't do it, IMO.

It is a clear no with not one person saying go for it.
Thanks for all of your opinions and jokes.

I will now cross this off my long list.

I think instead of a sunroof, a better option would be some custom t-tops.
Like the old 80's Camaros and Firebirds had.
Really opens up the cab.

He's not going to, mainly because of post #7.
