Third row seats in 2012 Puma

I have installed the third seat row in my 2012 Puma. Original seats and everything looks good. I have the bracket that goes into the top corner to fasten the seat belts. However, I struggle with how to fasten the belts below. From photos that I´ve found on the web it seems that the belts are fastened on the "shelf" (scuse my english) and not the floor itself. And from more googling I´ve found that there are L-shaped brackets that (I think) need to be installed underneath the whole thing. My Puma does not have these L-shaped brackets installed. Whether the seat belt screws into these brackets or not, I have no clue. I basically have no idea what I should screw these seatbelts into. Attached are three photos, one which shows my Defender lacking this bracket, another with it installed and a third photo is off the web.

Is this bracket neccesary? Do I fasten the seat belt to this bracket? Or is there some other hole I’m missing?

Grateful for all comments.

Yes, you need that support that goes under the tub with the tube that bolts down to the rear crossmember. Once you get this it should be more self-explanatory.

Thanks Jim. Just needed that confirmation. But does the belt screw into the bracket?

No idea on belt location. Check UK forums.

Well - guess what.. This bracket is out of stock - permanently. Have checked Paddock and Craddock and Lrparts and Britcar *sigh*

If anyone has a good idea for where to get it, I´m all ears!

Post a “wanted” add on ebay.co.uk, or on a UK forum such as Defender2

Thought I should “report” back. I couldn’t find these brackets anywhere until I was referred to Matt at a used parts sale “Carriages auto service ltd” in the UK. You’ll find them on facebook. He had them, sent them, I got them - and I actually installed them myself! Recommend them.
