ST Door Top Stuck

My passenger side door top is rusted stuck. Any suggestions on how to get these unstuck? Tried hitting the pins with a rubber mallet a few times but don't want to break anything...

Shep here's the best thread so far - best to keep them all together since this is a common occurence and any new suggestions stay in the same thread for when someone is searching.

I've still only ever been able to get my passenger side off! But I also kind of quit trying. haha

slowly rocking it from side to side (conch the nuts are removed, if possible), a lot of rust-nut stuff or WD40 (if it's all you have), patience and light prying with a small crow bar (carefully not to destroy the paint, the door and the window). This is what works for me... but the key word is careful.

Do not, no matter what, hit the bolts with a hammer... You will dent your door.

You are not the first, nor will you be the last... You can work the dents out... Hopefully, they are not too bad.
