New NLX Vehicle Build Up

This is one our new vehicles that we will be taking on our scout trip in a couple of weeks. We are finishing up the all the small projects and will send more photos once we have the rest of the kit on.

The truck came from Rovers Out East and we are very greatful to Aaron for all his help.

What we did -

Ground down the chassis and waxoiled
Rear tire carrier
Front Runner roof rack & duel ladder system
Bed storage box
Custom bed rack
Duel Front Runner water tanks
Hella 1000 Black Majic lights
Hella work Lamp
Limb Risers
MUD UK console
Duel Optimas with National Luna DB system
Bull Bar
Super Winch EPI 9
Viking winch line, fairlead, swivel shackels

This week we will finish up the interior - tuffy box, fride, auxiliary power points etc...add two rooftop tents, sand ladders, road shower, etc..

This has been a fun project. I have always wanted to kit out a pick up and I think it will serve it's purpose well.

Our other vehicles have just arrived in port and we will keep everyone posted on the upcoming builds.

James, where in College Station do you live? I went to A&M for graduate school and lived both in CS and Bryan.

BTW - Beautiful truck!

Who makes that rear tire carrier? I've been looking for something similar.

I don't actually live in Texas, we just use it as a stop over. It works out since we have some family there.

Ok everyone here is the link to the tire carrier.....http://www.tiregate.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=1068

It's a bit expensive but I think it is worth it, not a lot of options with a pickup.

What an AWESOME Truck!

that is the best looking crew cab 110 that I've Seen!

Been wondering how our series 2a would look with the truck cab and rack on top.
Anyone seen one with a truck cab and rack with ladder?

Think we'll be able to do a conversion like that with a DC100? Now I'm just getting more pissed...

They should just make it so the Sport Body & Wagon body are interchangeable with snaps....going to the beach with the cheerleaders - sport - soccer game - wagon.

James, after driving this truck last month and comparing how it is now to these original pics, how about sharing a lessons learned with the forum members! I know there has been quite a few changes after some seasoning in the field.

Mark will do. We have a whole new set of mods that will be taking place over the next couple of months as well. I'll post some new pics soon.
