My new toy

Well, I've been on this board now for a few months so I thought I'de post my current toy.

I bought this truck about 4 months ago with some of the modifications done to it, but it really needed some work to be usable. Since I got it, I Herculined the floor, put in rear jump seats, fixed the dash and replaced panels, installed a radio, fixed the messed up steering (had death wobble real bad) and several small wiring projects. Its as finished as it can be while I keep buying parts for it.

Specs: 3" rovertyme lift with 35" Baja Claws on TR beadlocks, Salisbury ont ton rear axle with Eaton electronic locker, 30 spline longfield shafts in the front with electronic locker, 4.88 gears, and a ton of other goodies. Thing is about as capable as my built Scrambler was and is much better on the road.

Looks like it had a full external cage at one point.

What's up with the painted door handles?

Did this truck come from Colorado? I am pretty sure it was Troy's old truck. If so it started life as a SW then he converted it to a ST and I got his betaweld external cage off of it. Last I saw it it was grey so that would explain the paint job and the painted handles. Plus as far as I know if it is said truck then the front hoop on that should off of my old truck that came from Columbus!

Sweet rig though!

Yeah, you can tell from the visors that it used to be a Station Wagon.

Great looking truck, have fun!

It did come from Colorado. It also was a SW convert, has the SW tag on the back.

It has been painted without question, but i havent seen any evidence of gray paint anywhere yet.

I have one. Just dont carry it with unless I wheel. Its big and heavy!! I'm not sure what the stock rear tire carriers are rated for, but it may be too large for one of those as well.
