Jon,

Will these bolt into existing points or will we need to drill through the chassis to mount it??

Looks great, congratulations!

Thanks! Here's the best part, you ain't gotta do no-thing! They use all pre-existing holes. The rear frame mount you can use with the interference fit, a tack weld, full weld, or you can drill through and pin it with a bolt if youre feeling sassy. Center frame outrigger utilizes the existing T-case bolt holes.

I'm thinking about including 4 weld on tabs and spacers with the sliders for those who have frame sliders. It will give them the option to modify the frame sliders to work in conjunction with the center frame outrigger.

Just an update. I'm waiting for pricing from the laser cutter before I decide on a final cost.

I'm going to try to get a set or 2 done by Christmas, but I HAVE to get this Toyota crawler out of the shop by January to make room for the next big rover project.

The real question is how much flotation do the offer for wading? Can they be filled with single malt?

Floatation is excellent provided you are fording a river of liquid Mercury.

Plans are in the works for Stainless steel sliders with taps for just this purpose.

Well looky what we have here... laser cut and CNC bent brackets!

I'm setting up jigs this week, with my goal to deliver the first pre-production set to WoldD90 in person in Atlanta this weekend.

I'll be doing 3 more pre-production sets, and if everything goes well, and I verify all my fitment, I'll begin full production. I'll be doing at least 2 HD sets, and possibly one more XD set.

I should have final pricing worked out next week. Expect HD sliders to go from about $500 - $650 depending on options, and XD sliders to start at around $650.... that will include hardware AND the additional frame outriggers.

Also, a thought I have had. I know there are some DIY guys out there. Would anyone be interested in a rock slider bracket kit? You can make your own slider, but I'll save you the hassle of the tedious and not so fun process of figuring out mounting dimensions and bracket fabrication.

Jon and I, just installed a set of his wicked cool slides on my truck... Pictures coming tomorrow. I will be putting them through their paces at CROC's Uwharrie Safari event in April.

I would be interested in this. I would really like to make my own set but the figuring out how to best attach them keeps holding me back. Pm me when you get a chance if this is something you are willing to do.
Thanks,
Michael

I can definitely do something for you. Do want front and rear brackets, or my entire mounting system?

I want whats best. I would think the entier system. I would rely on your suggestions. I am not an extream off roader but don't want to have a set of sliders that are just for show. The only thing is I have a galvy frame so I can't weld to the frame. Sounds like this is not a problem. Am I right?

My complete mounting system would be the ticket. Drop me a PM with your timeframe if you could. Thanks
