Metal running boards

I got tired of trying to stand on the flimsy plastic trim pieces that cover the bottom of the rockers so i broke out the welder and made these.

Metal running boards!

Simple design to mimic the RR Classic originals.

Pile of metal
Fitted and tacked
Primed for paint
Since I had the welder fired up, I put on a RTE front diff guard that has been sitting in the garage for 2 years

Finish welding on the Jawhorse-gotta love the Jawhorse for holding stuff like this-awesome

Passenger side finished and in place

I LOVE MY NEW METAL RUNNING BOARDS!

Craig, I love the fisheye!

You can get close up, and it really brings you into the scene.

Like that pile of metal in the garage...you almost feel like you're in there with all the junk!

Phil, I scratched one of my metal running boards.
Just saw it the other day when I was underneath.
Must've happened on Dickie Bell or rockpile or slabpile or whatever those NC trails are called.
