Ahh got it.

I've read that the FPHE should also be positioned flat with the ports facing upward and is best to have the entire thing insulated. Anyone marketing an insulating blanket or just come up with something to retain some extra heat or is it not necessary?

I'm heading out to dig out my brackets and see if I can get the heater mounted on the truck today.

Would try it without insulation and then add it if needed.
I think the unit can be mounted in any direction.
Straight fittings are not necessary.

What about this? Instead of the T's, I think just plumbed in series would be easier. It shouldn't lose much heat to the main heater.

I just recently replaced my T'Stat but reading back I saw the 195 T'Stat was recommended. Let's see how it works out with the 190 T'Stat.
