KC Daylighters :-)

I was wondering if any of y'all have put KC highlighters on an ARB bumper?I talked w the ARB folks and they made it seem like it can't be done.
Any advice would be great! Thanks in advance.

Not highlighters. Daylighters.

Pete, i cant see why you couldn't. Do they mount different than Hella or LightForce? You can adapt almost anything....

If you don't already have them, hella 4000s work well.

KC Daylighters

They said that only IPF specific lights were compatable with the ARB bull bar, which i find a little strange. Im not sure if its just a kick back for ARB???
So your Hellas look pretty bad ass, Im assuming those are they in your profile pic?
which ARB bumper do you have?
thanks for the reply

Hellas will absolutely fit on an ARB bar. I haven't personally been around KC daylighters enough to know their mounting type, but I would guess they'd also fit.

IPF & ARB are distributed by the same company. They may very well be the same Australian based company. KC lights fit on my ARB FJ Cruiser bumper just fine.

Hello Rovers North!! I appreciate the professionalism with my orders the other day.
You all run a top notch business and will continue to work with you in the future. Do you all carry Hella??

Thanks for the compliments! Indeed, we have carried Hella for quite some time now, I run all Hella on my personal vehicle as well. (rear work lamp as well) http://roversnorthdii.files.wordpres...img_4856-2.jpg

Here is our Hella lineup - http://landroverparts.roversnorth.co...code=20&key=mr

It can be done, but IMO the daylighters are an outdated design. The may have worked on Marty McFly's toyota pickup, but there are better bangs for your buck (...dont google that) today. I have a pair on the rack of my 109 that have been up there for the last 12 years, but they have been out of commission for the last 3. They let water in easily and the chrome inside is starting to peel away. The H3 halogen bulbs will drain your battery pretty quickly too.

Check these out: http://www.amazon.com/Tuff-LED-Light...ff+road+lights

They are nearly half the price of the daylighter kit (when new), they are sealed better, comparably bright, and draw less energy.
