And why is the 4JB1-T be so much smoother than the 4BD1-T? Sounds like both can put down the power.
It followed the alphabet through time as different engines were developed and manufactured.

4JB1T is very different compared to the 4JB1-T, but still a proven power plant.
You should drive our 4JB1-T sometime as we know how to tune them.
