I can't make up my mind

What do you guys think? I have made some Safety Devices brackets for the roof rack I'm building but can't decide whether to use them or the clamp style that I purchased. I have to use the clamp style at the bumper and exo cage so should I keep them all the same or use the Safety Devices style brackets where I can?

Personally I like the SD style anywhere you don't need to use the clamps.

Where they hard/expensive to make? It would be nice to be able to buy these for home made cages.

I agree. I like the looks of the SD clamp just to keep it roveresq. I'm just not sure about mixing and matching.

It took a while to make them. I built a jig for my press to stamp them out. It still takes a while to drill the holes and cope them. They'd probably run 20 bucks a pair (top and bottom) if I were to sell them.

I think the SD style brackets look clunky and unsophisticated. But it works and is a simple connection. Having said that, your brackets look really good!
