hose from overflow tank to radiator

I removed the radiator today. I simply could not get the hose off the fitting at the radiator so I had to cut it.
Can I replace it with garden variety hose or do I need the Land Rover part.

It's $20 and $12.50 overnight shipping. The radiator will be recored with a 5 row core by Friday. Should be pretty cool. I'll pay the Land Rover charge if I have to but I want to know what my options are.

Any hose rated for the temperature would be fine.

So no worries about the numerous and odd kinks the factory hose takes?
