Gas tank guard replacement

So, working on replacing my gas tank guard. I have a 95 NAS ST with a sway bar.

Looks like the gas tank is held up by the tank guard? It is dropping while I'm trying to remove the old guard.

Any suggestions on how to replace without messing the tank up? Not sure how I'm gonna hold the tank up while replacing the guard.

Called Lucky8 - helped me out. Used ratchet straps to hold tank up. Went very smoothly after that.

Never thought I would stare at a skid plate for so long.

I did that same job. Use a lot of anti seize on the hardware so you can drop the tank with more ease to get at the fuel pump in the future. Also a good time to hit the exposed bolts and the fuel tank mounts inside and out with waxoyl

And nice Arles BTW

This type of surgery best performed on an empty tank!
