Front seats refreshed, fixed the rattle too

Finally got around to reupholstering the front seats. I installed seat heaters with the Exmoor techno cloth trim and rebuilt the seat frames.

Not sure why land rover went with pressed in mounting ends for the frame bottoms, but both of mine were broken. After welding them back together, the annoying rattle that I was chasing vanished. Here are some pics...

Looks great!

Maybe Rover wanted ease of assembly so they didn't weld those bottoms although you could teach a monkey to throw a MIG plop to hold it.

Both of my lower seat frame are broken causing the seat to lean back. They cracked at the middle bolt.

I did this weld and it eventually broke. I bought new frames. New ones no longer have a tab pressed in. The hole is just drilled in the frame.
