I think the M1101/1102 trailers are way more practical to pull behind a Defender or series trucks because they are aluminum. You don't notice the weight of an M101 behind a duece-and-a-half but you surely would behind a defender.

The M1101's are out there for sale for roughly 1500 give or take. Really nice trailers.

X2...I was thinking the same thing when reading all of this...it just fits.

This is the Manufacturer

Both the M1101 and 1102 are aluminum and identical but the 1102 is an HD version.

The canadian 101 is just an updated version of the 416 so it is small and perfect behind a rover. The US military 101 is HUGE and heavy.

Just saying since peole seem to confuse the 2
