Exmoor molded matting system install

For those who installed the Exmoor molded matting system, did you cut large rectangles for where the seat box covers go or leave them as flaps?

It looks like Bill went with flaps.. using his install as a guide but would appreciate any other hints or tips - planning to attempt this soon: http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ghlight=exmoor

Left them as flaps on both the 110 and 130.

Left them as Flaps, and they look great, but get the cuts right, or it's tight getting to the battery box!

Leave them as flaps. You may need to do a little trimming when you out tournaments back in depending on clearance. This is one of the best add on's to your truck.

what's the 'no shiite' of that setup for TDI trucks on engine clatter and transmission whine? it's quit an investment.

Bill, I'll take my clatter everyday over having an ECU and plugs. And it's mostly transmission whine on the highway I'm trying to control. I have a lead engine blanket and I can barely hear the kitten purring on the highway. That R380 just won't shut the F up though.
