Dynamat Bulk Pack Users

How much did you end up using?

I have a 110 and plan on doing the full floor before installing new carpet. For anyone that has done this already how much did you use?

I also picked up 12 Sq' of 1/2 Dynaliner for under hood use.

Any other tips? I didn't buy the dynaliner tape since it looks like aluminum tape.

I read through a few dyna liner posts and wanted to get some more info.

thanks
Oscar

The tape is actually useful...it keeps the dirt out of any gaps. If you're doing "just" the floor I'd say five boxes. If you ever order more than you need just list it here. Don't forget a hard roller and a good utility knife with extra blades. Oh and a nice 6x3 plastic top table comes in real handy....good luck!

Thanks Yudda that was helpful. Bill I ordered the 18"x32" x9 bulk deal off amazon. I already have the rubber acoustic mat upfront so that area should be good. I also ordered the hard roller and a roll of generic aluminum tape that looked a bit more robust than the Dynamat tape.

I just received my carpet from urbanlandcruisers.com so looks like I'll have an upholstery project sometime soon.

Well don't forget to protect those seats with covers from T. Brooks! When I did mine there were a couple of access holes that I covered over but I wrote on the mat indicating their location just in case.

I just did mine a couple of months ago. I used 2 3/4 bulk boxes. Did all the floor, as much of the bulkhead I could get to, the seat box, and the rear tubs up to the window. I also used the 1/8 dynaliner on the floor at the 2nd row seats(my kids would burn up before). Drastic change in cabin temperature and noise. I also installed the exmoortrim carpet set for the css, and boy did that make a difference too. When putting the carpet down I experminted with several spray adhesives, the best was 3m Super 77 from Lowe's. Good luck with your project....

Bill I have some aftermarket seats but I am considering seat covers. I think I will pick up a set of jump seat covers from him though!

Jbullis, thanks. The dynaliner on the second row sounds like a great idea. I didn't even consider dynaliner on the inside for some odd reason.

I have a 36' roll of Thermo Tec for sale. Bought a bunch off of Amazon but bought too much. Of anyone wants to buy the roll I will make them a very nice deal. Still in box and ready to ship.
