Defender 110 Rock Sliders

I installed the first prototype set of my rock sliders on a clients ROW 110 today. Pretty happy with how they turned out, just gotta make a few final tweaks to the mounting and a couple bling additions for the production version.

Man that truck keeps popping up everywhere. Did the "engine dis-engaging" issue get sorted ?

Looks good! Did you have to tweak them at all to fit?

I'm not sure, I'll have to let the owner speak to that. I just drove it in and out of my shop and around the corner to take pics.

No tweaks required to fit them, but there are a few design tweaks I want to make for the production version brackets to make them as cross compatible as possible between all the variations in body configuration and chassis manufacture (s).

Look great! I like how you have enough room to step on them for sorting things on top of the rig. Ours just barely have enough to get your toes on and they're easy to slip from. Nice job!

Oh, man those look good! I'm even more excited to get mine for the 90 now! The previous pics you took of the 90's fitted with these had trimmed eyebrows so it was tricky to imagine it on a stock truck. It's great to see the geometry next to a set of stock fender eyebrows. The fitment from the slider to the eyebrow is so clean that it looks like it was meant to be. Great work.

110 Sliders

I am really pleased with the way that these turned out. Jon has a great eye for detail and I look forward to seeing some of the other ideas that he has up his sleeve. These look great.

I will put up a post when I'm ready to do a batch of the 110 sliders. I still want to make a few design tweaks before I call them done.

I have a target price in my head, but I don't want to publish anything until I get the final design tweaks done, and get all the productions costs firmed up.

As far as pricing goes. I'll try to have that soon... I'm in the process of closing up shop and getting ready to move to a new shop... so I'm going to be out of commission for a bit. I'm just trying to get a few projects buttoned up and off my plate before the big move.

...bumping this thread in continuance of this thread...

Carter, can you make a set of the HD sliders that are notched to accommodate the ex-MOD 110 fuel cubby doors? I need something with a side profile that looks roughly like this:

Ideally, I'm looking for something with the general dimensions of the Rock Ware and Mantec sliders. I'm not doing gonzo crawling so I don't need/want the slider to stick out more than, say, 1/4" - 1/2" or so from the body.

Chris, while I am not inclined to get a set, I am more than willing to meet up with Jon so he can fit your set to my truck.

Can I make them, yes, but I don't know that there is really that big of a market for them, and unfortunately small batch 1 offs are not gonna be cheap. Also, they'd have to stick out about 2" from the body.
