Another 1/10 Scale Rover Build

The next project from Wolf's Micro Garage is a 1/10 scale D90 ST for a D90 Source Member. This build is based on the Gelande D90 kit and will be attempt to be a true NAS D90 ST with NAS ST rear cage, soft top (hopefully), and front A hoop.

This is truly an amazing, high quality kit. Everything is milled aluminum, tight tolerances, well thought out. This kit is more for the casual driver and not for thrashing on the rocks like the Axial SCX-10 kits.

Not only does the mini transmission look nicer but I bet it shifts nicer than a LT77 as well!

Making progress and it's time to start on SW to ST conversion. Measure 3 times and cut once!

Cool build!! Those look like some heavy duty parts!!!!!!! Probably better made than the Axial parts, ironically..

Here's a very realistic RC Series 3:

That's pretty damn cool. Some guys take this stuff to an entirely different level.

The owner still wanted to seat 4 people in the back.

Funny how there is so much detail on that body kit, down to the rivets along the sides, but no vents under the windshield! Throws my eyes off!

Can't wait to see what you do for the cage!

There are vents under the windshield. On the kit, the whole front of the windshield and below is one piece that's installed later.

Yes, the cage will be a challenge, but I have some ideas.

Oh wow. Genius! Yeah I want to see what you end up doing for the cage - I have 2 of those black model trucks that Justin was selling earlier this year, and want to make one of them into a soft top.

Just watched that! Too cool very realistic...the only thing missing was 2way chatter on a handheld! It takes alot of time for that for sure!
