Aftermarket guages

Can anyone do a write up on how to connect your aftermarket guages to the source they are suppose to be monitoring? I removed my cd changer in my 97' and made a metal plate that already has my airtank guage and switch, but i'd like to put some more guages in their like oil pressure, water temp,etc... So if someone can direct me the right way in doin this, that would be great

I plan on installing mine ( VDO oil pressure and voltmeter) and I will post my installation soon.
