$13.95 shipped no less. Thanks for the tip. Just ordered one as a spare (but will make sure it works first).

If you could make sure to report back whether it works or not once you've tested.

Got the Magnaflows in. Great looking tip, both pieces look well made.

Finalized the suspension with Justin today. End state was minimal lift (1-2"), increase in flex, and better/longer bump/washboard control. I may kick myself for not going up to the resi Fox.

Fox 2.0 Emulsion Non-Resi 10" Travel Shocks valved at 85/90 all around
OME 751 Fronts
OME 764 Rears
Terrafirma Front/Rear Dislocation Cones
Terrafirma Front/Rear Spring Retainers
RTE shock mounts all around

I'll probably add genuine spring isolators for noise/vibration attenuation and might also need extended bump stops.

Funny how the parts list has morphed from what I originally planned. For the better I hope, definitely more dough though... I keep getting talked into things.

Should have done the oil cooler lines sooner, but thankfully I've made it this far. These Trailhead 4x4 lines look slick, and Justin even managed to kick in a discount. The SafariHP rear speaker housings are very well constructed as well; thinking of Dynamatting the inside of the housings prior to install.

I'm sure you'll still be pleased with those. Any word from Luke?

None yet Kevin. I'm so interested in that 3.2 PS coming out in the Transit van this fall that I'm probably just going to have Luke fix whatever is chattering, seal the engine up front to rear, and wait for a couple years for a transplant. Thanks again for the lift!

Sears Diehard Platinum batteries are on sale for $189 right now versus the regular $220, at least here in Middle Earth.

Also found that TireBuyer.com seems to have the best prices on tires, shipped.

I bought one yesterday in Warwick, RI. Retail was $222, no sale. They gave me a 10% discount when I complained that they were listed at $188 online.

Crap, I should check to see the local price as well. This was the online price after I input my zip. I assume they want a core...

So off topic again as the 90 is still in the shop. I put front brakes on the LR3 a while back but cosmetically they look like garbage already with surface rust. I went with the OE rotors from AB and genuine pads, the rotors come in an AllMakes box and obviously have no rust inhibitor on them like the genuine ones do. So I taped and painted the rears prior to install with caliper paint in an unobtrusive silver. Stripped and washed the hub area and took some steel wool to it prior to paint. Nothing fancy, but it should last till someone finds me a Black/Black Lux Limited LR4....

A couple small things I did a while back. Some hot start issues solved I believe with some PCV line replacement:

One line was split wide, and the other had a crimp in it and a completely clogged oil separator.

And the all too common taillight issue:

Besides a bushel of Georgia's finest red, the harness was rusted out. Replaced temporarily with a Wipac LED; waterproof crimp is the way to go here I think.

Yep, found a few that we specd..., minus HD, in Texas and Cali. We are going to wait till this fall when we get to Texas. Seems as though the Southerners like their LRs too much as the "shortage" seems to be limited to the Southeast. Minus the new RR of course. I about pulled on a Cpo in Cary NC but wife finally put the kabosh on that.
