Tune up with new cap rotor plugs wires. Screaming Marelli switched out with relatively fresh alternator from the now-donor green LooB. Installed NRP exhaust from same vehicle; old one was full of rust.
Tomorrow: Brakes, and switch drive shafts from old truck.

Sounds good Bill, but it sure makes me wonder if fixing the other one wouldn't have been easier!

Done with all the hit list from the inspection.

No, fixing the other one would have definitely not been easier.

Got perm registration today. Took it for it's first long-ish drive over to the Eastern shore. A couple things came to light.
1. Drivers mirror about fell off. Seems PO had it in place with two loops of electrician's tape. Swapped out for good one.
2. Getting a liitle swoopy steering. I guess I need to check all my bushings and rod ends, but I suspect it's the frame bushes for the radius arms and trailing widgets.
3. Bucking at speeds over 65. Could be a bad module, a vacuum leak, some shiz, I don't know but it's annoying. Might try moving the known-good stuff from the other truck over and see what happens.

On #2 I would bet on panhard rod bushings if the ball joints are good (I assume you would have noticed torn bushes while under it) and swivel preload is ok (this seems overblown to me but ....)
