What do these rebuilds run?

I was wondering what all these great rebuilds that you guys are doing end up costing? I'm looking to start one myself and want to know what I'm in for. Does 10,000 go very far on these trucks? I was thinking if I were to dump 20-25 thousand in parts and paint I might end up with something pretty nice if I do the work. Am I in the ball park or way off? Does rebuilding a 110 cost significantly more due to the size and additional doors and seats? Thanks for your help

Thanks for checking on my history, I don't know how you define a troll but I don't live under a bridge. If it means I read this board and don't contribute much because of my lack of knowledge than yes I'm, a troll. I have always loved the defenders but it hasn't been until recently that I could afford a toy such as a defender. Originally I was going to buy one as my daily driver but these trucks seem better suited as a weekend toy. So please don't disregard my question thinking I am truly not interested in your replies. As my history shows my affection for these trucks is not just a passing fancy.

I define a troll as someone who asks a question without searching the forum and then doesn't participate in his own discussion.

Every question you ask is covered already on this forum. In most cases covered 4 or 5 times. And your questions are very arbitrary.

I might be mistaken, you might be legit, it doesn't really excuse your lack of due diligence reviewing the information already easily accessible.

How far $10k will get you is completely dependent on your ability to work on the vehicle. It will get you almost nowhere with a shop.

Did it come with a Series 109 and a diesel engine??

But seriously, you knocked out one part of the vehicle, there is so much more to it!

Point taken...I will try and use the search key more as not to waste you time with topics that have already been discussed numerous times. I just thought this approach was more direct and timely.

Really depends on what any given truck needs or what you want to use it for. New engine, auto conversion, good paint job, new galv frame, new seats, roofliner, carpet, shocks, springs, brakes and lines, fuel tank and lines, radiator, tires, always something electrical,......and of course oil cooler lines. $10k up to an amount you can never tell your wife. 9 times out of 10 it's the latter.
