Some time in the CA sun for this truck and they'll be "normal".

Here is a Beach Runner we did after just 4 months in the sun with "glossy" flares, you can se the "flatness" coming along nicely.

we turned those suckers on for the first time yesterday... almost melted the paint off the wall.

Mike how do the compare to Hellas? Looking to upgrade my stock LR fogs. Ive had Hella 4000s in the past and trying to decide between those and Lightforce.

You would only want to use them offroad with no opposing traffic. I live on a very dark dirt road and we have alot of deer so i really like a strong light that can shoot out past the stock fog and headlights.

Yes, I totally agree. That is definitely the one I would have picked too. I would be OK with any of the Defenders in this post. ECR does an amazing job with what we have available here in the US.

I've been running a pair of Lightforce's for a few years. Terrific penetration and no complaints. You don't really need the extras on the rack. I use the rack lights now to light up the trail's sides and close in up front, under the Lightforce beams. Lightforce is the new standard for the Baja these days...

Also >>> I made a bar that sets the rack lights back about 2 feet from the front end of the roof. That way, there is no light 'spray' on the hood, so much easier to watch the road ahead...

So I was reading in Car & Driver today about how the new Turbo Porsche can hit 60 MPH in 2.9 seconds.
But am I crazy for thinking if I had to chose between a new Turbo Porsche and this D110 Mike is sharing with us that I would chose this D110?!

Very nice Mike!
Does it have ABS?

Yes, you are crazy.
I certainly respect the Porsche (can't argue that) but they have a stereotype of "men of a certain age" that always put me off them. Not my bag baby, I'll take the 110 anyday.

Yes, it has ABS and TC.

Thanks. Ian and I went round and round on trying to make something that protected the lights but also looked OK. Not sure it is my favorite design, but it does the job of keeping the lights from harm (as they are plastic). Ian also made tons of cool tie down points so just about anything can be strapped into the rack, and it has a floor and he angled the upper rail in slightly to match the "taper" of the truck's body as it goes up. Hard to see, but it looks good.

Wait until you see the new dash with the body-color-ish center dash section.
