Yes, I saw those in person and up close.
They were extremely well-fitted covers.
Budget over $700 for front and rear seats/armrests if I remember correctly.

Truck looks great so far, Brent! Do you mind sharing which shop you went to for the paint/body work?

brent, there's a guy here in Chattanooga that quoted me on my seats. should be reasonable, I've never used him for seats (he did my headliner) but he's been in the business a long time.

shoot me a text if you want.

Eazy repair and detail. Small unassuming shop but excellent work. They do repairs on many of the high end car dealers. Had a Bentley and M6 when I dropped off my truck.

I went by the shop today and was astonished by the quality of the work. I am very pleased with the attention to detail and quality. These guys are really taking their time to do it right.

Looks pretty good, did you have rust on the firewall seam?

Shame not to pull the quarters and front fenders off, to be 100% sure there were no rust back there. Unless I missed that part.

You didn't miss it. I didn't go that far. We inspected to the best of our ability and couldn't see anything concerning. I am simply running too low on funds to pull them.

so I am in the process of getting things off my parts car and have a couple questions: 1. is there an instruction somewhere on how to remove the plastic radio / heater surround? 2. What is the best way to remove the vent louvers our of the dash? 3. When removing the ABS pump, do I need to worry about pressure in the lines or pump? It has not been turned on in 10 years so I doubt there is any pressure at this point 4. How easy is it to remove the ignition? This truck has matching keys for ignition, doors and trunk and the ignition is actually smooth at this point. Here are some pics of progress. Last two are because I just got back from fly fishing in Montana and am having a hard time letting go and getting back to work...

That paint is looking great! Removal of the dash bits should be in the shop manual. If you don't have it, I can email or dropbox them to you.
No idea about the ABS.

Does anyone know if the SWB models had the dog guard brackets built in like a LWB did? My parts car has an original swinging dog guard in mint condition and I would like to install. I don't want to take down my headliner unless brackets are there.

Are there whisker plugs holding up the headliner in roughly the right spot behind the c-pillar? One of my LWBs had a dog guard installed while the other two simply had the headliner plugs blanking it. If so, then you're golden as those are the bolt holes for it.
